Carolyn Alderson joined Content Complete in April 2004, as Content Negotiator on behalf of consortia and corporate customers. Carolyn has been in the serials information industry since 1988, working previously for Swets and Zeitlinger and The Faxon Company.She was a member of the team that established the ALPSP Learned Journals Collection initiative, a unique cross-publisher collection of titles, which at the outset involved over 25 publishers using a single pricing model and licence. From 2001 to 2002, within the joint Swets/ MIMAS consortium, which acted as Managing Agent for NESLI, she was responsible for all negotiations with publishers. |
During her time with Content Complete she has acted on behalf of a number of academic consortia and global corporations to gain agreement on pricing and licensing terms with a variety of publishers world-wide. She has a wide-ranging expertise and a particular interest in the licensing aspects of accessing electronic content.
Carolyn is a member of the UKSG's Education Committee. She holds an MBA from Warwick University.
